Park School Excels In ISI Regulatory Compliance Inspection
Inspectors did not make any recommendations for areas in which the School might improve.
We’re delighted to announce the results of Park School’s exceptionally successful ISI Compliance Inspection. Both the school and nursery have met all the criteria set out in the Independent School Standards Regulations and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The Inspectors visited Park on 23 and 24 May to undertake a full Compliance Inspection. They observed every aspect of School life including analysing the curriculum, observing lessons, chatting to pupils both generally and over lunch and interviewing pupils throughout the School. They also attended after-school clubs and held discussions with staff, with members of the Senior Leadership Team and with the School Board. Additionally, they analysed all parental and pupil feedback.
The inspector’s feedback was excellent across all areas of the School. During the two-day visit the School was assessed against 450 Primary School Standards and more than 70 EYFS standards in 8 different categories. These categories are listed below:
1. Quality of education provided
2. Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils
3. Welfare, health and safety of pupils
4. Suitability of staff, supply staff, and proprietors
5. Premises of and accommodation at schools
6. Provision of information
7. Manner in which complaints are handled
8. Quality of leadership in and management of schools
The School is judged to actively promote the well-being of pupils, and in relation to the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils, enables pupils to develop their self-knowledge, self-esteem and self-confidence.
Commenting on Park School’s successful inspection, Headteacher Melanie Dowler said: “I am delighted that every standard has been met. The hard work of everyone in the School and Nursery has been acknowledged in this thorough inspection process and report. It is only by the whole School community working together that we can ensure all the children in our care receive the best educational opportunities. Opportunities which enable each individual to be the very best they can be.
“I am extremely proud that the School’s achievements to date have been acknowledged and am excited that our future plans are going to be developed on a strong foundation.”
