Inspection Reports

Top Rated Independent School in Bournemouth

Park School is inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), who review all aspects of school life.

Inspectors evaluate the curriculum, observe lessons, speak with pupils across all age groups, survey parents and staff, and meet with both teachers and senior leaders to gain a full picture of the school’s provision, culture, and outcomes.

Following its most recent inspection in February 2026, we are delighted to confirm that Park School has met all the required standards in every area.

The report highlights a number of strengths across the school:

  • “Leaders have a clear vision for the school… [with] values that are central to school life.”
  • “The school successfully promotes effective pastoral care and wellbeing. Pupils know who to turn to with any concerns.”
  • “Pupils are self-motivated and eager to learn.”
  • “Leaders maintain well-established safeguarding arrangements.”
  • “Teachers explicitly teach reasoning skills from Year 3. This contributes to pupils becoming analytical learners.”

Inspectors also recognise the strong sense of community within the school, noting that leaders “involve members of the school community when planning for future projects.”
